The base plate is made of flamed wood in a special Japanese technique.
In this ancient technique, the wood is strongly charred at up to 1000 degrees on the surface and immediately cooled down again.
Subsequently, the burnt wood is elaborately freed from the coal and cleaned many times.
This creates a beautiful play of colors and a pleasant feel. The natural grain is thereby beautifully emphasized.
The natural warm look of the flamed wood harmonizes perfectly with the horn. A beautiful decoration that works even better with two horns.
Kudus are an African antelope species which are not subject to any restrictions. The population is secured.
The horn is securely mounted on a wide metal stand. It is rotatable and removable.
The horns with stand are between 90-100cm high. The base plate of the stand is 25cm x 25cm.
Each horn and of course each wood is different in coloration and structure.
